Admiralty Air Service--A virtual airline
Covering an area of 125,000 square miles, Admiralty Air Service offers charter and commuter service to the towns of southeast Alaska. Our three bases are located in Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan with our home office located in the state's capital. Admiralty Air Service utilizes eight seat Cessna 421s for scheduled commuter runs and select charters. Equally important is our fleet of bush aircraft, predominantly DeHavilland Beavers and Cessna 185s, operating from straight and amphibious floats. From each of our three bases, we fly fisherman, hunters, eco-tourists, locals and Forest Service employees to many remote locales, often accessible only by small plane. Pilots wishing to join should be prepared for inclement weather and challenging flying conditions. Schedules are difficult to adhere to and pilots must often improvise when things don't go according to plan. At Admiralty Air Service, we strive for as realistic an experience as possible to simulate the true bush experience. FS Meteo is used to generate real time weather and FS Fail keeps things interesting as well as unpredictable. Take a moment to look around the site. We can always use a few stout pilots! |
