Initially, after joining, prospective pilots should decide which of the three bases (Juneau, Sitka or Ketchikan) they would prefer to be based at. Once that has been established, they should begin downloading the necessary files for their area and type of operation (i.e., VFR aircraft for for VFR flights, etc.), see the Downloads page.
After that, you are free to go to one of the two pages that show available flights, either VFR Flights or Commuter Flights, and choose from those listed. Note that the latter are IFR only.
After choosing a flight, one should set up the sim (FS2002), download the weather via FS Meteo, activate FS Fail, then fly the flight.
Screen shots are strongly encouraged to compliment your pireps.
